Meet Jessica McDaniel, LPC-S

Healing often begins in the moments people feel safe enough to tell the truth about their pain.

Starting counseling can feel vulnerable, especially when life no longer feels manageable in the way it once did. I believe therapy should be a place where people feel deeply seen without shame — a space that feels safe enough for honesty, thoughtful enough for deeper exploration, and grounded enough to support lasting healing.

I work with women and couples navigating betrayal trauma, infidelity recovery, childhood trauma, postpartum challenges, and relationship pain. Many of my clients come to counseling feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, grief, disconnection, or the emotional aftermath of discovering betrayal in their marriage. Others have spent years quietly carrying the weight of trauma, shame, or relational wounds while trying to hold everything together for everyone around them.

My counseling approach is warm, relational, and trauma-informed. I help clients gently explore the wounds, attachment patterns, and protective strategies that may be shaping how they experience themselves, their relationships, and their faith. Much of my work centers around helping clients process the emotional and relational impact of betrayal while rebuilding safety, trust, emotional connection, and a stronger sense of self.

I strive to create an environment that feels both compassionate and honest, where healing is not rushed but intentionally supported with care and curiosity. My goal is to support women and couples navigate betrayal trauma, infidelity, affair recovery, sex addiction, attachment wounds, childhood trauma, postpartum and perinatal challenges, and relationship distress.

As a Christian counselor, I also value integrating faith into the counseling process in ways that feel authentic, grounded, and restorative. I deeply respect each client’s story and believe healing often happens when people no longer feel they have to hide the painful or complicated parts of their story.

I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling from Denver Seminary and have practiced as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas since 2013. Over the years, I have pursued extensive trauma-informed training related to betrayal trauma, sex addiction, affair recovery, attachment systems, childhood trauma, and perinatal grief/loss.

It is a privilege to walk alongside clients as they move toward deeper healing, healthier relationships, and renewed hope and I look forward to the opportunity of hearing from you!
