Ryan McDaniel, LPC-S,

Helping men move beyond shame, secrecy, and unwanted sexual behaviors toward integrity, healing, and deeper connection.

Meet Ryan

I work with men, individuals, and couples who feel stuck in patterns they desperately want to change but aren't sure how to overcome. Many of the clients I work with are carrying the weight of sexual addiction, infidelity, unresolved trauma, anxiety, shame, or relationship struggles. On the outside, they may appear successful and capable, but internally they often feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or uncertain about how to move forward.

Seeking counseling takes courage. Whether you're facing the consequences of choices you've made, struggling to rebuild trust after betrayal, or trying to understand how your past continues to affect your present, therapy can provide a space to slow down, gain clarity, and begin moving toward lasting change.

My approach is relational, direct, and trauma-informed. I believe meaningful healing happens when people feel safe enough to be honest about their story while also being challenged to grow. I work collaboratively with clients to explore the experiences, beliefs, and patterns that may be keeping them stuck and help them develop healthier ways of relating to themselves, others, and God.

I specialize in working with sexual addiction, unwanted sexual behaviors, infidelity recovery, betrayal trauma, childhood trauma, attachment wounds, anxiety, depression, and relationship concerns. Much of my work focuses on helping individuals understand the deeper roots beneath unwanted behaviors while supporting couples as they rebuild trust, emotional connection, and relational safety after betrayal.

As a Christian counselor, I value integrating faith into the counseling process when clients desire it. I believe grace and truth work together in the healing process, creating space for both personal responsibility and genuine transformation.

I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling from Denver Seminary and have been a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas since 2012 (Texas License #66895). Over the years, I have received extensive training in trauma-informed treatment, attachment-based therapy, narrative therapy, sexual addiction recovery, and infidelity recovery.

It is a privilege to walk alongside clients as they pursue healing, deeper self-understanding, healthier relationships, and lasting change.
